Pick ONE song by The Jam

Just Who is the Five O'clock Hero?

Love the B side, The Great Depression.

I'll vote for Butterfly Collector,no!.....Tales Of The Riverbank, No!....Monday....No erm Little Boy Soldiers.

Bollocks to this its too hard

You wanna song? I'll go for the title track from his solo album "Illumination" that's the one I could listen to all day.

I'm not a lot of help am I?

Depends on the context:

To get people jumping: Town Called Malice

Best single (for a general crowd): Down in the Tubestation at Midnight

Best track (for the aficionados): In the Crowd:

And everyone seems just like me,
They struggle hard to set themselves free
And they're waiting for the change

Has to be That's Entertainment for me. Just brings back memories of a certain time. In particular an away trip to Norwich that was a bit lively!

Sleeping on the roof
As I was standing by the edge
I could see the faces of those who led
Pissing themselves laughing...
I actually scanned the lyrics but it didn't register which song they were from til after I'd posted my choice :lolol:

Tales From The Riverbank.

Love this track, although I think the 'Alternate' version on the box set is superior to the B side of Absolute Beginners.

My personal fave is Dream Time, only because I have played all of the well known stuff to death.
