Oh how its changed since the days I used to go and we just used to climb over the fence and slip the security guard a tenner if he caught you. One year some pikies broke a big chuink of fence down and we all just strolled in. Of course in those days it was far more relaxed and chilled out.

This post reminds me of the character Andrew Lincoln played in Human Traffic.

Bloody good idea in my opinion. Might stop people buying 10 tickets and putting them all on e-bay.

Do STHs still get priority?

No, for some reason the organisers have given priority to those that have still kept their ticket stubs from the Cheeky Girls on tour gig at Barnsley Working men's club in 2005.

It then goes jointly between STH's and anyone who bought Phil Collins album 'No Jacket Required' in the last 20 years.

I wish I could be arsed to find a picture of him (hell - who am I kidding? I had a look and couldn't find one.) You know, the guy in the club banging on about how things were better in the old days and all the kids don't have the spirit anymore...

Oh yeah I forgot he was in the club as well, I only remembered him in the pub with the awkward bit where they knew each other but didn't want to talk to each other.

It is true though, Although I haven't been to the last 4 glastos the 6 or 7 ones previous to that I did go to and they got progressivly worse as the atmosphere and attitude of the festival changed completely.

Those Withdean-style stalls selling burgers for £4 and crammed beer tents selling Carling regurgitated out of a unicorn's arse at £3.50 a pop killed it for me last time.

However, as soon as I discovered Lost Vagueness everything was fantastic. The thought of spending another weekend banging at a skeleton piano and drinking fine whisky with an army of fellow freaks in ballroom dress makes it all worthwhile :)

I'll be there. WICKERD.

The thing that annoyed me last time was the Slippery Dicks Surf Shack had a proper path down to it and loads of people could get down there. Bastards.

Its a good idea imo. You have to register for tickets and send photos in during Feb and then tickets go on sale to those that have made the effort in April.

SHould make it easier to get tickets as youll get less people just deciding the night before that they want to go and clogging up the connections.

Also, BEST bit of Glasto news so far, Mingoue definately NOT playing :D:D:D:D
