You can still see the lines and they havent taken all the grass off. Didnt think the lines would show through after they have taken the grass off!

That looks very much like "top dressing" which is routine end of season turf management.

I was there watching them do it only 2 hours ago and can confirm that they were removing the top layer (which to me means the grass plus little bit more - I don't know much about pitch management!)

I believe it's going back where it was, at least the plans seem to show that. I'm not sure if the new suites in South Stand are going in at same time, but looking at plans it's going back in same place.
