Could anyone tell me of any photo booths, or a place where you can have your photo taken (for a UK passport) in the Kemptown area? Cheers in advance

Yep. They have a booth at the back where the Post Office is.

if its the one near Corals in St James St, its really good at doing passport photos for babies

most photo booths in post offices and supermarkets charge in the region of £4.50 to £5. Read the instructions carefully to avoid ending up with a "celebrity" photo or the wrong size ( 1 big one instead of 4 passport sized ones ).
