I am not convinced we really deserved anything out of todays game. we created zilch, hacked away several chances Bmuff created and Hendo made a few blinding saves. We had 1 shot that I can remember

What concerns me is our lack of ability to "put away" poor teams

To be fair to the team Revell had the one on one in the first half, and the header wide in the second, also Gatting had that sliding effort in the second half that somehow didn't go in. In all I thought we had the better clear cut chances, although they did have an awful lot more posession.

Could have been El-Abd and Hendo because someone said that Hendo threw a hissyfit at El-Abd when he put a ball out for a throw in that Hendo should have come to collect.

Yer saw that,Hendo called it but stood on his line with his dick in his hands so El Abd had no choice but to clear it out for a throw because no one told him if there was anyone behind him

No not on the receiving end at all.

I think there was a full and frank discussion about our play in general today. From what I could tell, people were having their say, as they rightly should.....Robbo was certainly very animated.

As I said a couple of times, Hendo did not go out deliberately to fall flat on his arse and gift them a goal. It was one of those things.

If a keeper makes 1 mistake it costs a goal, if a forward makes many mistakes, he is having a bad day.

that is the reality

It can be good sometimes to have a bit of a row within the team aslong as its all sorted pretty sharpish.

he made ONE very good save, caught a couple of crosses and had bugger all else to do in a blinding save kind of way. He made a couple of routine saves that any first team goalkeeper would be expected to make day-in, day-out. Bournemouth did not create any chances that required blinding saves. They were shit but we were shittier.

i thought the one he turned on to the post was blinding as it was going in and he looked to have fallen over, as was the follow up that he turned away on the other side.

The second one was a very good save (though one I'd expect most keeper to make). What worries me is that when he makes 'routine' saves, they rarely go in cleanly, Having said that, the weather today would not have helped.

As for any contretemps, I can't believe it would last. It's one of the thing that the warm down is for. Better to do it there than on the bus home. Tomorrow, Wendy will sort out what to do next, start preparations for the West Ham game and get everyone focussed. If the goalkeeping issue needs resolving, he will resolve it.

It's not as though West Ham are brimming with confidence at the moment.

Henderson = WANKER.

Deserves every bit of abuse he got from whoever it was.

You talk shit i'm afraid.

Had any other player on our team fallen over, they would certainly not have got such abuse (even Mayo!)

While our squad are?

If we keep WHU to 6 or 7 it'll be a good day.
Don't you think that's a little melodramatic?

Don't you think there may have been one or two players today who may have had part of their mind on Saturday's game? They will raise their game, and will make a bloody good show of it.

93rd minute calamities aside, how many did we concede today? Really, we're not that bad, and we are more than capable of giving their defence a bit of run for their money. Sure Coxy will be missing, but there is enough quality to give West Ham a decent game,

I would say that 1 point out of a possible 15 (think that's right) suggests that we really are that bad.

The thought of West Ham, fresh from a drubbing coupled with our defence and midfield...not melodramatic at all. Where is this quality you speak of that is going to give WHU a decent game?

Let's be brutal now-we couldn't give Bournemouth's defence a run for their money and they were second bottom of Div 1 this morning before we played them.

I was one of about a dozen who were stood in the pouring rain just behind the goal when Henderson could be clearly heard to tell El Abd to leave it, it was his ball. I can only assume that El Abd thought that Henderson was further away and wouldnt reach it so hoofed it clear to avoid any possible danger.
