Yeah but it's an excuse again, if we were good enough we would have won. We are not and I am afraid that is White, Booker and Slades fault.

Did you go to the game? I would lay my house on it that you didn't! I would also guess that you have never played at any decent sort of level of football. Your comments are pathetic, embarrasing and moreover completely unhelpful to the team. Shut the f*** up unless you have something to say that you are either qualified to do so or have been to the game. I will keep the faith despite being pissed off we lost again, if others did that and people stopped saying the usual shit every time we lose it may help the team.

Whether he did or not, there are people who this does apply to. You cannot be further from the truth, but today, as the final whistle was blown, I was incredibly pissed off.

Never mind, that's sport. Keep the faith, stay with Russel, and have some continuity. If Bloom sacks Slade, regardless of what he has done for us, he is just as stupid as some on a messageboard. We sacked Wilkins, got Micky. Did that help? Did sacking Hinshelwood help? Has sacking any single manager, and bringing another in, ended in success after a dozen or so games? No.

I want a manager I could easily sit down with over a beer, and talk to as a mate, without even really knowing them. Not a journeyman manager, who doesn't really care for the club, and talks nonsense. Slade's that kind of guy, likeable. And he cares not just for the club, but for the fans.

Please just try this word, and I'll keep saying it, continuity, and see where it gets us.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
I agree but from previous commentaries Paul Camlin seems to watch the game with a serious bias towards the Albion (much as I do) and some of his comments should maybe be taken with a pinch of salt as they are said in the heat of the moment, when he sees an injustice towards the Albion.

Be interesting to hear what those were there have to say because it came across that the ref missed:

1) booking the guy who injured McNulty before he had chance to foul him again and end up injuring him

2) The Murray bookings for handball, when Tranmere players were not booked for the same offence

3) Should the keeper have gone for bringing Murray down

If the above is true they were match changing decisions
1. First foul wasn't a bookable offence - second was though
2. Murray had to go. I didn't see any deliberate handballs from Tranmere players (if there were any, they were nowhere near as blatently obvious, stupid and unnecessary as Murray's)
3. Possibly, but I don't think he was the last line of defence at that moment (also he didn't bring Murray down, just pushed him off the ball)

Blaming the referee is a pointless exercise (in more ways than one). He may not have been very good, but we should have been able to overcome a few poor decisions - winding him up by arguing decisions probably didn't help either.

Apart from when Gary Hart was on the last defender who caught the ball and was yellow carded for the offence, when arguably, (and harshly IMO) he could have been sent off.
