Following Bry's morbid death thread - if you could find out the exact time that you are going to die would you want to know?

The plus side is that you could put your affairs in order and say goodbye to your loved ones.

The downside is that it would hang on your conscience like the sword of damocles - you'd be constantly clock-watching.

I am happy to live in blissful ignorance.

but if you found out that you are to die in 6 months then you could make sure that you spend all your money, quit the job you hate and do the things you wanted to do before you died.

What a quandary.

Why not just do them now?

I'd like to chose how I die but not know when. A quick death is all I ask

Absolutely not, it would feel like there was a clock ticking and you would probably end up wanting it to be over in some warped way rather than regretting it was so soon. In my last job I worked in a welfare role, some of the people I worked with were terminally ill and had been told by the quacks how long they could expect to live...not a position I would wish on anyone. I would rather not know...I just hope that whatever I die from it is not due to someone elses' negligence or cavalier behaviour.

in this day and age, there's no excuse for poor spelling.

There is if you're dyslexic which I mildly am. I try to spell check stuff but you don't always have time. But if it makes you feel like the big man to take the piss out of it then please proceed.
