Philips sending off detrimental to us

It's now about how we play in the next tree games and if we match the first half of the season in second half we will be playing less league games next season. We got a couple of class players coming back from injury nice problem for CH to have.
I think Virgo was right we may not be playing as well as last season but we are grinding out the results but this could also be the way the opponents are playing against us and changing tactics when they come to the Amex.
It would be great to end the first half of the season on 51 points from 23 games.

It's only really an advantage to Reading if the Leads replacement for Philips is worse than he is. If they're of equal ability (or close to) then it's not likely to make any sort of difference.

But we're not playing Forest until March. Having watched us play, not to our full potential, in recent games I feel that we have to branch out a bit tactically. Mind you, I think Hughton has already twigged that, Trollope will ensure that his instructions are followed as his bark is worse than his bite.

P.S. Sorry about that - couldn't resist! :lolol:

Last season we were only looking that good when playing teams who had nothing to play for. We are better this season than last on points and performances. The massive GD difference shows that. Main reason being Duffy and knockaert (first 16 games).
