Coupled with little being said about the Bullard/Barmby incident I think it shows a massive weakness in him.

The Hull chairman Pearson has had it in for Brown since the moment he took over and it was obvious he was looking for an excuse to get rid.
Thats modern day football now and the stakes are high. Not sure who the chairman thinks they are going to attract though?!
Brown has done a cracking job to take them up and keep them up and with the assurgence and money being spent its a tough league this season, but Hull were always going to struggle.
Unrealistic chairmen...but thats the prem....its touted as the best league in the world but its really full of greed, money and players acting like wild animals.

That seems more likely, but the statement from Pearson suggests it's results based.
Just not sure what they think a change will do at this stage as any new guy coming in will take a few games to assess how to get the best out of the players.
Unless they plan to do a Newcastle, and just try bringing in a famous international player in the hope that they are an inspirational figure who can just immediately lift the dressing room, so rthat the short-term spike in form is enough to keep them up.
Maybe everyone's learned from Newcastle that you can't do it with a complete novice, so they'll look for someone with at least some managerial, assistant manager, coaching experience.
Oh dear, I've just scared myself ..... move on Hull, there is no-one who fits that description round here.

odd time to sack the manager. next three games should get a win and with Wolves having 3 tough games, they could of been out of relegation by end of March. i thnk they've just resigned themselves to relegation.

Not because it is Nobby Horton because I like him and think that he basically is a good manager but why do clubs sack the manager and then appoint the assistant to take charge surely the two go hand in glove if they work together.

It had to happen sooner rather then later, because if they get relegated. It will spell financial ruin for Hull City. Their Chairman said that it will cost them a 100 million quid, if they go down to the Championship! That is unbelievable.
