Yes and watch Dead Poets Society or goodbye Mr Chips. During my PGCE saw the worse teaching at a fee-paying school. Smug, useless, elitist wankers the lot of them. I did my PGCE at the Institute of Education (University of London), teach in Thamesmead and love it.

Leave the fee paying schools to the old and uninspiring….yes I am a reverse snob!!

You can def count me in as a reverse snob as well. In my brief primary teaching career so far have taught kids from all backgrounds. While the state sector certainly is not perfect, having worked with children from private schools on holiday schemes, I can certainly say that they are 100x more annoying, indulged and harder work.

P.S. Don't forget the massive bonus of the 6 week summer holiday!
