Wow is that how managers check the transfer list?

So in real life it's just like playing champ/football manager.

Some noteable players from Prem/Champ/League 1:

Goalkeepers

  • Jamie Ashdown (GK, 29, Portsmouth)

  • Daryl Flahavan (GK, 31, Crystal Palace)

  • Tom Heaton (GK, 24, Man Utd)
Centre Backs

  • Stephen Caldwell (CB, 29, Burnley)

  • Liam Chilvers (CB, 28, Preston)

  • Sam Sodje (CB, 31, Charlton)
Full Backs

  • Hasney Aljofree (LB, 31, Swindon)

  • Anthony Capaldi (LB/LM, 28, Cardiff)

  • Darren Lough (LB, 20, Newcastle)*
* No idea if he could do a job but signed him on Champ and he turned amazing. You heard it here first.

Midfielders

  • Lloyd Sam (RM, 25, Charlton)

  • Anderson Silva da Franca (CM, 27, Barnsley)

  • Sean Thornton (CM, 27, Leyton Orient)
Strikers

  • Febian Brandy (ST, 21, Man Utd)

  • Warren Feeney (ST, 28, Cardiff)

  • Roy O'Donovan (ST, 24, Sunderland)

Surely one or two could be picked out of those??

The only 3 i'd want. Caldwell is the type of experienced, strong centre half we need, but will be on very high wages i'd presume. Lloyd Sam would be class, but wont happen, wanted by numerous high end Championship clubs. O'Donovan impressed at Hartlepool, worth a shout, but would be a risk, Hartlepool is the only place where has has impressed thus far in his career.

Some noteable players from Prem/Champ/League 1:

Goalkeepers

  • Jamie Ashdown (GK, 29, Portsmouth) - yes please

  • Daryl Flahavan (GK, 31, Crystal Palace) - no better than Brezovan

  • Centre Backs

    • Stephen Caldwell (CB, 29, Burnley) - joining Wigan

    • Sam Sodje (CB, 31, Charlton) - sure he's got one of the worst disciplinary records in English football

    • Warren Feeney (ST, 28, Cardiff) - seriously f***ed fitness wise, got turned down by Grimsby Town last summer

What a shame - he is still only 27 - great potential, shame about the attitude.
I still think he has the potential to be a good league 1 player (but not for us!)

Van Vinegar of Castelmilk is total rubbish. He was at the not so Great Glasgow Unwashed for a couple of years and is slower than Snaily the Slowest Snail in Snailtown.
Besides, we dont want a 'hoof it and head' centre forward, being more of a silky and fluently artistic minded 'club de football'.
