Has anyone else got one?

The clutch and exhaust has just gone on mine after a whopping 35,000miles! Not to mention the power steering reservoir leaking!

Has anyone had a clutch go earlier than that or do I hold the record?

I've always been quite happy with mine. Smooth ride, compfortable air conditioned etc. Quite manuverable. Gets me from A to B etc. But the thing is falling apart on me now!

Yep, sounds like your typical Peugeot. Moral of the story, don't buy French cars, ever.

That's basically what the machanic told me! Enginerring wise they are great. But the build quality is shit.

On NSC for over two decades...
A couple of my mates have had Pugs (one mug has had two 309's, although admittedly the GTI he currently has goes like stink) and they've all fallen apart.

Mine's been fine, apart from the horn going off twice when I've unlocked it. Bit embarrassing for the five minutes or so until it burns out. Due according to my dealership to Peugeot changing how the horn is angled. There has been a recall.

Apart from that very pleased with it.

Had a 306 once; total nightmare. New clutch after 40k , fuel injection system needed replacing after 50k, immobiliser decided of its own accord, to shut the whole car down at least twice a year, once outside Priestfield. The fan came on deafeningly loudly whenever I parallel parked, alarm went off for no reason.. and the list goes on.

The day I got rid if that piece of crap was one of the happiest of my life.
