Apparently petrol prices do sneak up just before major holidays like Cristmas and Easter because people are often off work for long periods and want to travel visit people etc. Easer is only 3 weeks away.

Your personal use is NOT agriculture. Hence you are breaking the law.
You never bend the rules yourself then like MP's?
Anyway off topic but does your car radio have bluetooth and if so what is the point in that if you have a usb port?
I've added more info to the post above.I've a company car so most of the time fuel prices don't matter to me The 1.229 shocker was in my personal "toy" car, thats why it was Super Unleaded also.
It doesn't, but the reason for it you can stream music using bluetooth from a mobile that hasn't got USB mass storage support. Admittedly a lot of the phones that don't have that don't have bluetooth audio either, but thats what the idea is for. Having both is still useful.
Its been a LONG time since I did serious car audio stuff, so I can't really help with the speakers. I'm guessing you already have a non-factory head unit? A lot of cars have far better speakers than you'd expect with the terrible head units they ship.
Alpine are good, but unless you're on a mega budget you're not going to get the rest of the kit up to the level the make the price difference noticable. JVC have always been my HU brand of choice.
