Still cheaper than a litre of Coca Cola

Yes, but I don't drink 80 litres of Coke a week... unlike my car and it's diesel habit!

Well who remembers having vouchers given to them ? (Fortunately we never used them). Must have been mid 70s though.

I've still got a book of them somewhere! About 1973 I think.

I've found a simple solution, don't drive.

That's alright if you can ask Mummy or Daddy to give you a lift... but if you need to travel 110miles to and from work each day, it's not such a sensible suggestion.

I used to travel about 70 and got on this crazy contraption called a train. Not really sure what it was but as far as I could tell it was a huge metal beast that carries people to different locations.

Ok... nice idea... but can you suggest a sensible daily train journey from Billingshurst to Basingstoke - to arrive no later than 8:30am ?

When we were in France the other week it cost me £24 to fill the car up as opposed to £38 over here!
