Well who remembers having vouchers given to them ? (Fortunately we never used them). Must have been mid 70s though.

That's alright if you can ask Mummy or Daddy to give you a lift... but if you need to travel 110miles to and from work each day, it's not such a sensible suggestion.

I used to travel about 70 and got on this crazy contraption called a train. Not really sure what it was but as far as I could tell it was a huge metal beast that carries people to different locations.

Ok... nice idea... but can you suggest a sensible daily train journey from Billingshurst to Basingstoke - to arrive no later than 8:30am ?

Get the bus. It's cheaper for the commutes. £40 for a monthly Brighton and Hove ticket. Most of you probably pay more than that in parking.
