Just to clarify I went into the Peterborugh ticket office at 5 today and it is definitely pay on the gate tomorrow for Albion fans. Bloke said we had sold just over 3,000 leaving approximately 1500 spaces left on terrace, as 700 seats sold. So get your arses up here with or without tickets and fill that terrace.

Hi mate, I have no reason to believe you are lying, but can you confirm this was one hundred percent sure? My mate wants to go but has no ticket at the moment! Cheers.

Yep 100% the guy actually seemed happy to encourage the fact. Said the club never turn away anyone with cash in their hand. Suspect they can't officially announce this though as the police won't let them.

Therein lays the crux of the matter, with cash people are faceless. Would the police have their way everyone would have a name, number, finger print and mug shot. Sad days really....

I guess there is an outside chance that police will enforce something but as others have said if the capacity is fine then I can't see they will have a problem. If I didn't have a ticket then I think I would still go, you always have the back up of going in the home end anyway.

Very true - I was just stating to obvious about why the piggly wiggly's hate cash on the door, and as such clubs feel pressured not to permit it...sad really as many clubs need every penny they can get...but the view is that safety is more important than profitability!

I would think the police would have more problems with a 100 or more fans wandering around outside the ground, angry that they had been refused entry than allowing them to part with hard earned readies at the gate and safely inside watching the game.
The away end holds 4000, and they know that 3000 odd tickets have been sold so therefore there is enough room inside.

Especially as apparently 700 are seats so loads of room on the terrace.

In days gone by when Chelsea played us away their fans took no notice of ticket only and the police made the club keep an area of The Goldstone empty and then ushered the away fans in there free rather than have 2,000 Chelsea fans roaming around Brighton or Hove on a Saturday afternoon. Would think Peterborough will follow suit,

By the way I saw some cracking giraffes and monkeys today. What are the chances of sneaking one of those little things into the game tomorrow. He is wrecking the hotel room.

The away end doesn't really hold 4,00 does it? I don't remember it being that big. I thought the north stand at the goldstone was 4,000 and that seemed much bigger than the away terrace at Peterborough.

Were on our Way, Were on our way....... Were on the edge of BIG CLUB status, WAKE UP EVERYONE! How many clubs pretentially bigger than us! Maybe 8. I think that question should be a thread......I'll put it up.
