No rumour, just personal opinion.

If, as looks likely, Cardiff stay down, could he be a realistic target? Oozes class every time I've seen him, sweet left peg, great free kicks/corners and scores loads from midfield. Probably didn't have his best game for them last night but still looked head and shoulders above the rest when he was on the ball. 27 and signed a 3 year extension last August so large fee involved and would imagine he's in their top 2 wage earners.

Strange thing is that, although he is predominantly left footed, Cardiff have looked woeful down that side all season so can see why they were interested in Noone.

Noone plus (quite a lot of) cash perhaps?

Completely UNREALISTIC. Head and shoulders the best player at Cardiff. If he leaves there, it will be to the Prem.

You're probably right but would be an amazing statement of intent if we did get him. And would go some way to replacing Vicente if, as suspected, he doesn't stay, both from a creative and goalscoring perspective. How much do you reckon he'd cost? £3 - 5m?

Heard Reading will go for him if Cardiff dont get promoted and Cardiff will be back for Nooney as a replacement.

The ONLY way this could be possible is if Cardiff find themselves in financial strife this summer, having gambled everything on going up. Unlikely, but they have done it before.

However, even then, I think a low-end Prem side would make a move for him.

I think Cardiff turned down £3+ million from West Ham around last Christmas. He does not ooze class like Vicente, just a highly effective player due for a move to the Premier.

Whittingham would be almost the ideal player though in the Dicker position. Almost because the really physically powerful midfielder would be even better. Playing box-to-box and it is arguable if a right-footer is best?

Can't see why anyone playing for Cardiff would want to move to Brighton, think we are going to have to aim for good players in bottom half of championship / top of league 1 or fridge players in top half of championship / Premier league .
