Had the privilege of buying the great man a drink at the Grand yesterday after the Lords Taveners charity lunch. 500 people in the banqueting suite broke into a chorus of "he's shot he's scored" - marvellous scenes! As well as a true legend, he's a top bloke and loves coming back to Brighton and all the adulation that goes with it.
