Terrible news,:D He was doing a fine job.

Neil warnock is back in football then.

Neil Warnock back in football ?
Excuse me when did football ever deserve to be mentioned in the same phrase as Critical Paralysis ?
And surely Warnock would not lay down and be a yes man like Orange tan wants - far too feisty.
Give the job to Neil Shitterly - that should be amusing !!

Playing heroes should never go back as managers, when does it ever work?

I'm just glad Wardy never made Albion manager so he is still a God.

Horton & Case have both sufferred the manager's curse. As for taylor at Palace, well, he was their 'Wardy'. Never rated him!

They had Dowie whom we rejected, then Taylor, perhaps they should go for McGhee.

Palace Scumbag! Glad he is unemployed finally! Big ego and shit manager! just a shame he wasn't left in the job long enough to get them relegated, i'm suprised he didnt bring Trevor Benjamin and Junior Lewis into Palace lol

Bit harsh on Nobby that. He took over when we were rock bottom and got us near to the play-offs. He halted years of decline and laid down the groundwork for Adams to build on.

True, was gutted when he left and Wood replaced him. All turned out well in the end though!

This is indeed wonderful news.

A year after giving Beckham the captain's armband, Peter Taylor was in the Albion dressing room to provide the motivational teamtalk before the first ever REMF game at Southwick.

With all due respect to Dave The Gaffer, I think there's some unfinished business there for Taylor.

I might even consider coming out of retirement if he takes the job.
He did indeed! Forgot to say, nice to see you posting again Buzz.

... and we lost.
Only on penalties!

Agree with that....he had a hell of a job on his hands-Gillingham, a shit squad, no money.
