Solly is waiting until the FA Cup final to score.

Actually he has already scored in the Cup hasn't he and therefore assume this is league only.

Carry on :poop:
Actually I've been through it and I think TRansfermarkt has it wrong,
They have Webster down as scoring a Prem goal - and he hasn't.

So Arsenal are out on their own in front.

We're going to need some goals from the others if we're going to be able to sing "Most different goal scorers, in this premier league season. You'll never sing that".

Our last four goals have come from set pieces; corners, pens or free kicks.

Set piece responsibility is via our new assistant coach.
Noticed after JPVH's goal last week Ayari ran straight across the pitch to the bench and Minteh joined him, guess they were thanking him.

It’s definitely 15 different scorers if you filter the table to just show PL goals.

Possibly a header from a corner in injury time when down a goal and the goalkeeper is brought up into the oppo's box.

No, your right, that would never happen.
I don't think I can remember an Albion keeper scoring ever: is that correct?

You often see a left footer and a right footer poising to take a set-piece. This can confuse the keeper as to where the wall should be positioned and what area of the goal to cover.

I think Ortega was absolutely done by Pervis and Gomez lining up to take the free kick. Gomez even makes a slight dummy run to address the ball before our Ecuadorian nails it home. Well done to them both! Made in SA!
thanks for this thread - Pervis did the only two things you need to do with a free-kick - wrong-foot the keeper and hit the target. hadn't noticed the Gomez feint.

Pretty sure I heard FH on Radio Sussex yesterday that it was Jonas Scheuermann that has responsibility for attacking set pieces. Are you referring to Jonas or the newer assistant coach Daniel Niedzkowski

Jonas is still the one that emerges from the dugout pointing and barking instructions when we get an attacking set piece.

Pervis became our fifteenth different goalscorer this season.

I thought this would be quite unusual, but apparently we are joint top, and 3rd place is just one goalscorer fewer

But there are still a few players who haven't chipped in yet

Gomez
Ayari
March
Gruda
Webster
Dunk
Veltman

Very possible that a couple of those could get one by the end of the season.
Not good enough. Get rid. #FabOut 🤡

Kevin Bremner & Lewis Dunk have both gone in goal for the Albion - does that count?
Not unless they were in goal at the time they scored.

And it also doesn't count own goals (sorry, David Stockdale).

Dunk only scores own goals these days
