[Albion] Pervis Estupiñán - SIGNED - 5 YEAR CONTRACT

Huh! One footed. Booooooo!

Looks pretty competant and confident though.

He was probably sticking to the basics to be fair and going with his stronger foot, and I’m sure he’ll be encouraged/coached to at least use his weaker foot when it’s on ...

I thought the only thing missing from Cucu's game was genuine quality of delivery into the box. Pervis looks to be better on that front already

There’s a guy works down the chip shop swears he’s Pervis,
Just like you swore that to me we’d miss ‘Cucu’,
There’s a guy works down the chip shop swears he’s Pervis,
But he’s on fire and wearing white and blue…

Really? I loved his delivery for Welbeck at Chelsea in the last minute last season.

I don't think I said he's never done one good cross. Although he clearly contributed loads in an attacking sense, he didn't have consistency of delivery to match the standard of the rest of his game.

Too early to say if Pervis will be more consistent, but the ball in for Solly was a great start

Sydney .
Played further up the field than I thought he would and didn't hang about putting a cross in.
Looked very comfortable on the ball and with a good understanding of his new teammates - impressive debut.

My first chance to see him live in action today and I was really impressed. He maybe faded a bit before being subbed, but was certainly in the running for man (person / player) of the match.

Yeah, hopefully people won't be too hard on him for the couple of lapses late on. He was excellent for the most part.

I think his mistakes came down to him being ambitious and confident, attempting difficult passes etc.

If we get him to slightly tame those then we have an absolute gem on our hands.

Made a couple of mistakes, but I'm sure GP will work with him to improve that. I am very pleased with his signing and if you combine the business of him and Cucu we're about £30m up and have him as a player. What's not to like - the club are proving very adept at their planning/dealings IMO.

Pretty sure that was his only assist all season, tbf, if our finishing was better he would of had more though.

He looks to have a lot of potential, pacy, good skillset. Thought he was positionally caught lacking a few times, and some of the passes in the 2nd half were really questionable. Think he'll get there under Potter and get used to how we play, not everyone can come into the team and perform from the off like Caicedo.

Well he's going to be a lot of fun this season. Some sublime turns and interceptions in the first half. Some scary cruyff turns into trouble and a couple of barmy passes. But he's slotted into the way of playing well and looks like another prospect.

Taken off after a few silly mistakes in a row and a blind cross field pass.

Clearly a special player but appeared he thought he had more time than he actually did on the ball, he should be able to adapt but seemed like the tempo was faster than he was accustomed to

I vaguely remember Cucurella making a few mistakes early on, especially against Brentford away.
This guy will be immense for us, dare I say it even better than Cucurella!!
