That is smart work by the recruitment team to get such a quality replacement for Cucurella at short notice. The work put in with the earlier interest clearly paid off. Very good interview with Pervis too, he came across very well indeed. Am excited to see him play now.

Villarreal have 3 LBs apparently and due to La Liga rules, need to get rid of a couple of players before they can register ones they've already bought / agreed or need to get.

Rules there are much stricter, have to balance their books. So they were desperate.
