Err....yes I could. I just don't think it would look good on the porsche as it would confirm the stereotype that some have of Porsche drivers.

Fair enough. Just don't see the point of them. Unsure what the stereotype is - I only think of stereotypes in terms of Chelsea tractor drivers and those in BMWs who believe it their right to force you off the road because they are sooooooooooo important.

These all started way back when the old "S" reg first came out - they were area related on the letters in them days. V5 [first registration form] was acually issued with PEN 1 S but this was recalled by DVLA - and so the story started ....

Although I don't have one (maybe coz my surname starts with a Q), I don't really think people are mongs or w@nkers for having a personalised number plate. if they have the money and want to spend it on that so what? Whats the difference say, except for price, between having a BHA tagged number plate and having a BHA car sticker?

(then again I did see one plate that was clearly personalised, but didn't really spell anything out. But when you got up close, the guys name was written in small letters underneath, so you could see his initial were the same as those on the plate)

My dads remembers him going to pick up an old anglia for £200 for WBA11 back them which was about 4 times what the car was worth!!!.

The important thing is that this plate ends up in Sussex, not the west midlands, Derbyshire, or Plymouth.
