1) Is it right to post his photo on a public forum of Brighton fans - would you like abuse / violence against you just for offering an alternative to a football stadium. For God's sake get a life.

2) Wouldn't Falmer Council have suggested other sites anyway? If it wasn't Pende it would have been somewhere else - equally costly to the club.

I've poked fun at him in the past (I did so again this morning before the news broke) but I have to say I think it's gone a little over the top and turned into a traditional NSC feeding frenzy. Plus going on info on one of the other threads his favorite author is John Steinbeck, so he can't be all bad (Steinbeck was my favorite author when I was a teenager).

Also Shoreham Airport (not Pende!) has been mentioned before as a possible site for the Albion. Mike Bamber mentioned it when there was doubts about it's future.

However, he IS a pillock who should have shut up.

I might as well poke my oar in as everyone else seems to have had their say. I think the reaction on here yesterday was way over the top towards Horton. The guy hasn't murdered anyone for gods sake. He may well be a bit of an arse but in the general scheme of things he is irrelevant, ignore him. The more attention he gets, the more this will fuel his Pende crusade.

I agree with both points. Whether Persues has had any involvement either directly or indirectly with the anti Falmer campaignerers isn't reason for threats of harrassment and violence to be made against that person. Remember: A long standing season ticket holder and aquantance of L.B's gave evidence AGAINST the stadium at the last enquiry. In terms of a "Treacheryometer" reading, this act reads higher in my eyes than what Persues has done. (At present!) I heard no calls for this guys head on a stake. Persues is an eccentric fool and ill informed. However ill informed, he has a right to those views. As has been said before, F.D.C. were always going to pull a rabbit or two out the hat when it came to new sites. If they want to use Persues evidence and information ( ? ) then let them go for it. Percy may just have done us a favour if the Albions lawyers are on form at the new enquiry.....

You mean the photo that has been in the public domain for years? That he placed in the public domain? Which he could easily do something about by removing it from the public domain as they are simply links to his own posting of his own photos in the public domain?

NSC seems to be a place where anyone who slightly disagrees or is not part of a clique finds themselves the subject for everyone elses abuse.

the simple fact that you are still engaging debate in alternate sites to me shows that you do want the Albion to go out of business due to the cost of this inquiry....everytime someone suggests an alternate location (that I must strees has been previously discarded for quantifiable reasons) it costs the club time and money to refute the claims.....

Can't you just put your faith in the club and let them do whats best - you are giving cannon fodder to the Falmer Parish Council in your very attempts to reinstate this very old debate...

When have I ever debated another site? Pende seems to me to be a crap idea - it wouldn't work. All I've ever said is that I disagree with the personal abuse of perseus. I've seen enough of it myself whilst in the army - I'm not going to listen to some people on here continually spout pathetic little threats when they have no idea what violence is really like.

And 'I want PENDE' is a deeply ironic joke. Gettit?
