The best result of the season yes.

I reserve the best performance of the season for the Manure game.

Manure needed their woodwork 5 times, they needed 5-minutes Fergie time and a goal scored after the final whistle. They needed VAR to overturn a perfectly good penalty that was not clear and obvious. They needed Rashford to score a deflected goal off Dunk’s block.

That was an 8-1 game with luck on our side, we’ve still not regained all the confidence that game robbed us of.

Dunks own goal from the corner was a foul by Maguire on Dunk. It should have been overturned by VAR.

Yes for me. Good performances include clean sheets, no matter how lucky the goals conceded. They certainly don't include conceding three. Spurs are better than Newcastle.

What's really encouraging is that it came on the back of zero tinkering. The same team were sent out and put the Fulham annoyances right. Gross and MacArgie linked up well and it was the best I've seen Trossard play for a long, long time.

I agree with that. Was a great performance that day and one of the most unlucky results I’ve witnessed us have. You sum it up perfectly...

Great performance. Next up we've got Liverpool which is bit of a free hit, but after that we go into a run of games where a decent haul of points in achievable with more performances like that.

But he did miss it?
And it was a sitter!

Yes, I agree,it was a sitter that he missed. My point is that people will still blame Potter for him doing so.No amount of coaching of our strikers will stop the Spurs player making that teriffic block on the line from Aaron. Kane misses them as well occasionally I admit but do Spurs fans call for Mourinho's head,,,,,oh,hang on a minute! Anyway, equal best performance of the season along with Man. Utd but a justified result.:albion2:

I think we have played that well a few times (Man U springs to mind), but the 3 points makes it the best performance of the season
