Does he qualify to play for us next season, having spent a year in Europe or are there more hoops to jump through? And will brexit make any difference?

Doesn’t the first answer depend on South Africa’s world ranking?

South Africa play Libya tomorrow and need a point to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
If South Africa get that point and qualify the finals takes place between June and July in Egypt.
We need South Africa to qualify tomorrow, have a really good tournament, and climb into the top 50 in the FIFA World Rankings. He'd then qualify for a work permit.
If South Africa do move up into the top 50 then he could be a fantastic piece of business
Why would that matter?
