I'm 100% certain that if I ever meet a girl called Prudence, that I will be instantly prompted to recall the SATBs version of Dear Prudence.

Up til now, I haven't, knowingly met one, though...

My son has a friend called Prudence but as I don't know the song in question, it was easy to think of it

I'm surprised anyone of your (our) age, would not know it. It was a Beatles track, but covered (and bettered, to my mind) by Souxsie and the Banshees, in the early 80s.

Whenever I am introduced to someone called Gordon, I can't help instantly thinking that they are a moron.

Also another trigger is Eh-lo-eeeeeeeeeeese

Oh - 100% this one.

There used to be a stunning girl called Elouise, who worked on the customer service desk of our local Waitrose ( DavidinSouthampton probably knows her!). This was immediately stuck in my head every time I went in there.
