I think he broke his leg in the end. TB sacked the recruitment chap.

There were folk on here calling for PBs head too. Times they do change.
On 14 April, Teixeira suffered a broken leg as a result of a challenge by Huddersfield Town's Nahki Wells during a goalless draw. Ruled out for the remainder of the season, he was recalled by Liverpool. On 20 April, he was voted as Brighton's Young Player of the Year after ending the season as their top scorer in the league with 6 goals

A 24 year old Billy Sharp had his career ended at the Amex and was lucky to survive.

Dan Harding.

Was never the same after Will Buckley destroyed him at the Amex. Got dogs abuse from the stands, left the pitch in tears, ended up at Eastleigh and finished his career at Whitehawk.

He now part-owns a chip shop in Goring, and his mum is on OnlyFans.

On the contrary, for a footballer with very little ability, and a desire to have an income that can support him in his dreams of DJing, and enables him to afford all the electronic gadgets he could ever desire - I'd say his career was a rip-roaring success.

I'd gladly have settled for something similar!

Once again I implore all to look at Sami's first team for the first game that season.

At that point posters will realise just how wrong they are to dig him out.
Let’s not distort things here, weak team or not, he had Crofts playing at RB at Brentford (early in the season), because he wanted the team to be able to rotate during play.

He was clueless.

Thank goodness Hughton arrived and with the same squad (more or less) ensured we survived.

Leyton, E10.
Pretty sure Hyypia went on something like a 20 game winless streak and nearly got Leverkusen relegated before getting sacked.

He had a great time at Lev with an assistant manager that seemingly did all the work. The assistant left and conveniently this is when everything went tits up.

And carried on going tits up during his time here.

Graeme Smith.

Cucurella. Earns loads, but the day the Amex destroyed him turned him into a fallible liability.
Try saying that after a couple of sharpeners ???

Jonny Dixon although according to Wikipedia he...

...went on to become a television and film producer and director.[13] His credits include Come Dine with Me, Jodie Marsh on Mail Order Brides, Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents, Don't Tell the Bride and The Valleys.[13]

Dixon has previously dated Australian model, actress and ARIA nominated singer Holly Valance.[14]
Reminds me of a true story of when a hotel staff member was called to deliver champagne and caviar room service to a well-known footballer, and found the player in bed with a recent Miss World, smoking a cigar, and smirking.

"Oh dear" he said..."Where did it all go wrong, Mr Best?"
