I'm fairly surely Mendoza and Chappers for example use it very amusingly. I see nothing wrong with satirising tabloids, I think they deserve it sometimes.

It's not. Don't do it. If your point was that valid you wouldn't need to feel as though you have to falsely emphasise it. It stinks of shabby tabloidism and bad humour..."Oh look at ME I’m using CAPITLISATION" how ironically funny is that! It's not. Just makes you look like a nerd still living in his secondary school days spending extra time on his work with a couple of greasy-haired four-eyed pals.

Of course it can be funny; that was partly the reason why I started this thread and didn't really make it clear, if posters did it every so often and in the right fame it could be funny, just not when people do it every bloomin' sentence trying to be ironic. That's when it starts to get boring.
