From Worthing I come across to Brighton, but UP to London, always.

Anyone coming from London and heading South is definitely ALWAYS heading DOWN

All to do with the railways, and probably before that the post-coaches. London-bound trains are always up , even when coming DOWN from Scotland, and services out of London down.

Hence "up" and "Down" platforms across the country. The coast-lines usually have through services to London even as they go across towards Brighton.

I have sent Ann a message on F/B to let tony know im coming to Brighton on the 15th, ive told her to let him know i will be availbe for a sip of ale on the friday night, so try and meet up with us, i'm probably coming down on my own by the way, so its PARTY ON!!!!!
