Touch base (talk)
Engage (talk)
Socialise (as in share something, possibly by talking)
Solutions mode, solutionising
Like (like, when used by, like, teenage girls like all the time)
Engagement model (you mean 'talk to each other')
'Do me a one pager' (because I don't understand/can't be arsed to listen to you)
Deck (as in powerpoint deck - usually a pile of useless shite no one reads that took days to prepare)

I need to retire.

Agree with much of the above but disappointed page 2 has not yet yielded "A Holistic Approach".

My old district manager used this term in banking -- ****ing banking being holistic. It was just wrong and to make it more cringeworthy he was a gun loving, hunting, Republican from West Virginia. :ffsparr:

People who say "in and of itself" instead of just "in itself". I'm sure it doesn't actually make any sense and is just used by people trying to give what they're saying some intellectual gravitas. It actually bothers me quite a bit and I've wasted too much time actually trying to figure out what the "of itself" bit actually means. If anyone can explain I'd appreciate it because it's really bugging me.

The word 'vanilla' being used to describe anything slightly dull, average or expected.

And the expression 'meh' to describe indifference.

I think 'curate' is fine.

It's much less clumsy than 'vicar's assistant'

Personally, I think that's a bit of curate's egg.

The seagulls may sign one or two one season players to help us survive and give time for us to develope into a premership side as I believe we have to be realistic we need to survive a couple of seasons don't expect to be able to do a Liecester city.
Also we need to keep the team spirit going which could be harder when you may lose a lot more games than we have been used to.The fans attitude will be very important we are all in it together :love::banana:

About 20 years ago we had a number of Americans working in the company and one of them used to go around the desks tapping people on the shoulder and saying "Great job"

How patronising ,perhaps you should have gone round to their desk and tapped them on the shoulder and politely poked them in the eye with your pencil .
