I read somewhere that in the CL final the Chelsea players were under instructions to shoot one way in the shoot-out as it was Van Der Sar's weaker side. Anelka intentionally went against the instructions
I know I'm going to be shot down in flames here but: Ricky Ponting.
Another person the British people hate because he has had a moan about the England team bending the rules.
IMHO he had every right to complain about being run-out in the Notts Test in the Flintoff Ashes series. England asked Notts who their best fielder was and asked him to field somewhere close in (Which is against the unwritten common courtesy laws of the game which were followed by the Aussies) He also had cause to complain about the two drinks breaks in an over during the last Ashes.
He is one of the best batsmen of his generation and is disliked in Britain purely because of his nationality as far as i'm concerned.
Good call by Edna for Camilla, she definitely gets a raw deal from the press but is well regarded in these parts...some time ago she was on an official visit to a charity shop in the Stroud area, put her hand in her pocket and bought some toys for her grandchildren, went down very well with all who were present. I would be more than happy to have her as Queen if Charlie ever becomes king.
Drogba - Listened to a programme on Five Live recently about his foundation building a new children's hospital in the Ivory Coast. It's nice to see that some footballers are using their vast fortunes for a modicum of good.
I think Bellamy is doing something similar in Africa.
