Since we are talking Pensions via the Royal Mail thread what pensions (if any) do NSC people have.

There should be a fourth option - money purchase personal pernsion scheme. I'd expect a lot of people on here might have one.

SIPP split between german property, polish property, a couple of trust investments and a Fidelity online managed plan. makes pension planning almost fun

A final salary scheme at the moment, if Royal Mail get their own way a reduced final salary scheme.

I did have a final salary scheme which as I got made redundant after 50, is already paying out.

Not too sure what it's called but it's a company scheme that whatever I pay into it the company will match it !

It's something I really must sort out. I have an old frozen company one with Amex and an old frozen company one with Xerox, but no active pension scheme right now. Getting a bit late now as I'm 42.

Sadly a lot of people and it is another disaster waiting to happen.

I am sure all us pension paying people who also pay taxes will help foot the bill though.

I have funds for life. I just do no not pay into one anymore.
