Keep your eyes off the players face and feet, chose which way you’re going to dive before it’s taken and stick a hand up as you go down is the only hope, either that or just stay where you are and hope it’s hit down the middle.

I know it's a different time now but if that had been given against Keown's Arsenal or Jack Charlton's Leeds, Werner would have been carried off the pitch in pieces.
