Anyone got one and if so are they worth the money and monthly payment for the app?

I realise there are much cheaper non-interactive alternatives available but I probably need to be motivated by having some Bradley Wiggins wannabee looking at me from the screen and pushing me on as part of a group etc.

I don't know what the TV adverts were like in the UK, but in the States the people on the bikes were such smug, irritating gits that it was enough to put me off thinking about buying one. Just get on a regular bike FFS.

They also got quite a lot of flack for being sexist - and their stock took a dive as a result

Peloton is losing millions. It can't go on forever. I would beware for the time being.

I couldn't believe this at circa £2000 a bike then an ongoing monthly circa £35 for the classes, but this explains it: https://www.fool.com/investing/2019/11/07/why-is-peloton-losing-money.aspx

It does seem mad to me to spend that much on something that notoriously tends to become a clothes horse after a while, but each to their own.

Agreed - the risk with Peloton is if they go bust, discontinue the technology or sell the company on - then what you have is worthless. Very risky investment in my opinion unless you can afford to write that money off
