PC help needed - serious error message

I get this message

"Your video card or driver are not compatitable with media centre"

At the same time I can no longer get any sound?

Suggestions?

Have you upgraded your operating system?
if so find out the name of your card and do a google search for the driver updates.

My mate found out it was hard drive failure, and needing replacing, but he decided to pick up a cheap second hand pc, or about the price of a new hard drive, + it's higher spec,
