AMD R9 380 , my brother builds computers so I've left it to him as I know nothing!Ah really?
It does look pretty good.
I've only just started playing on PC last week on a reaaallll shitty pc (integrated graphics...).
But looking at building from scratch.
What card did you upgrade to?

Nah nor do I, haven't for a good few years but my laptop packed up and I saw the COD trailer around the same time so thought I'd go down the PC routeLooking forward to that as well, hoping my PC will handle it well enough. I don't spend enough time gaming anymore to warrant forking out a load of money for upgrades.
Been playing for a couple of weeks now. 1 chicken dinner so far and lots of close calls.
Any ideas of a decent PC without spending a fortune that will play the forthcoming COD and other up to date games plus the usual office stuff.
Cheers

Ahh nice.
I've been on for 2 weeks also I think.
Serious handicap though as I'm getting on average 13 fps, playing at 800x600 due to the weak pc.
Second once, third a few times and plenty of top 10's, so I'm just about coping with it!
Such a fun game though, especially in Squads.
I paid 450 which includes a big screen for gaming, mostly parts off ebay, already had speakers, mouse and keyboardAny ideas of a decent PC without spending a fortune that will play the forthcoming COD and other up to date games plus the usual office stuff.

Blimey, I just watched a video of it on youtube. It doesnt look like a relaxing game!!
If you want to enjoy the game as it was designed, maxed out at a smooth 60fps in 1080p you're looking at around £750-£1000 just for the tower.
If you're looking at 2k or 4k monitors then the tower would be around £1200-£2000
You can get a great 1080 @ 60fps for under £500 new.
Med-High settings with no 4K or VR.
All you need is 8-16GB ram and a GTX1060.
1080 @ 60 really isn't going to cost more than £600 tops for the tower.

Squads are the only way I play now. In solo's it kind of just turns into a running simulator and you can get dropped in one shot after not even firing your gun!
