Can you deposit it via the ATM? Does your bank offer mobile deposit?

I'm sure you get free banking with the Post Office. It might take a couple of extra days to be credited to the account.

Are you sure they're not open? Popped down a couple of weeks ago as had an important bit of business that couldn't be done online - restricted opening hours then, and had to knock on the door to be let in.

Santander banks are open in Hove, Worthing and Brighton - where do you live ?

Most banks offer variations of this but I believe there is a maximum amount. Why not just post it to the nearest branch with a covering letter , ask them to credit it to your account and send an acknowledgment?

No branches open ? Majority of branches are open I believe, but with reduced hours. Presumably you checked their website for your local branches hours before posting ?

Santander in Terminus Road, Eastbourne is open from 10am according to their website

If you get a deposit form/envelope (maybe print one from their website?) you should be able to put it into their overnight deposit which is usually somewhere on the outside of the Bank or in a lobby you can get into with your card. Not had to do this for years though.
