Pay on the Gate at Bridge Car Park ?

Just tried to book a place at Bridge Car Park but told by customer services that I was too late to book over phone but just turn up and pay on the gate.

Does this really happen - anyone else done this?

There is limited car parking available to supporters at the American Express Community Stadium...
Albion fans can purchase seasonal or match-by-match car parking space at the new Bridge car park, located just off the A27 and A270 junction.

The new site next to the Brighton Aldridge Community Academy offers convenient parking on all matchdays with a short walk to the Amex Stadium.

A seasonal pass covering all league and cup matches costs £270 - which based on last season equates to less than £10 per match.

Match-by-match spaces can be reserved for £13.

All prices also take into account the transport levy which is included in the season and match ticket prices.

£13. Head past stadium on a27 from Lewes, bear left, down hill to traffic lights. Turn left. Normally plenty of space.
