If Chris Hughton had an "impossible" task or not is up for debate, personally I think with Tony Bloom in charge it has always been a question of "when" and not "if" Brighton would take the step up to the Premier League.

Mate, please don’t think I am being patronising when I say that I think a lot of what you say on the Forum is logical and academically sound, it’s even the ‘grown up’ voice sometimes and you clearly have a great understanding of the game BUT () you have an uncanny talent for winding up fans who have been supporting the Club for many many years, through all the ups and downs and who have an historical and emotional connection to the club - Why are you seemingly intent on jumping all over that with your own interpretations, or have a need to ‘correct’ people and give unsolicited advice about how they should react to events concerning the Club (on nearly every friggin’ thread too it seems!) - Any chance of dialling it back a bit? You don’t always have to be right (even when you often are) - sometimes you could just let it go

Realistically speaking you are on this new account because you messed up somehow on the old one and got a crowd after you and wanted to get a new start, meaning you should know that there are periods when a matter is frequently discussed and you find yourself having a non-popular opinion on that particular subject which is all over the forum. Some always follow the wave, whether its "lets all burn Dan Burn", "lets all blame Maupay", "lets all hail Aaron Connolly as our new 20 goal striker" etc. They don't get into those situations. Discussing the opinions? And isn't that a part of the purpose with a forum?

Anyway, World Cup means I'll be working pretty much 10 hours a day starting next week meaning I'll have very little time to be here for the next month. Hopefully when that is over, the whole endless and tedious self-victimisation ("we've never been as good but I don't care because some blokes are leaving the club bohoo") phase is over and the talk about exciting things - football, politics and HWTs music taste - could return.

Will be good for NSC to process its mouldy neuroses over Potter etc without me sticking my fingers up their noses. and will be good for me to take a break from all the unnecessary grudges and weeping.

Chelsea ( i.e. Scumbag Potter) on the other hand only seem to have the ability to attempt to destroy the infrastructure of a club , steeped in hard work and good ethics.

May I remind you, that it was Chris Hughton who achieved the almost impossible task of turning us around from relegation candidates to a formidable Championship side and promotion to the Premier League. Boring, yes. But he helped establish us in the Premier League. He didn't do his best to f*** our club over.

Graham ( money grabbing ) Potter , managed two seasons of mediocrity and eventually after realising what every amateur pundit on here knew...that Maupay wasn't even close to premier league standard.....and finally ditched him, to discover that our recruitment team had actually saved his sorry arse. We had quality players a plenty. He failed, miserably, to work that out for two and a half seasons.

He also took two and half seasons to work out that tinkering with the side every week was yet another of his huge failures. Most amateur pundits on here pointed that out time and time again. If ever there was a case of an "Emporer with no clothes "....Potter is the man. To be fair to many Chelsea supporters on their forum....they have worked that out already. Fair play.

Thankfully, it is their turn "to suffer" and "to learn from it"....yawn.
