Well you learn something every day. I got a NSC friend request from TCOPB more than ten years ago (which I accepted) but although he clearly knows me he didn't mention who he was. The little tinker. :lolol:

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
This reminds me of a chant we used to sing at Withdean.

And straight back down again
And straight back up again.

2001 - Brighton win Division Three in their first promotion season in 13 years.

2002 - The club achieve back-to-back promotions and make it up into Division One (the second tier).

2003 - Brighton come straight back down again

2004 - The Seagulls go back up to the newly-named Championship via the play-offs

2006 - Relegated back to League One

Thank goodness they didn't use the Valentines Day card!

That is a superb article. I'm not even going to mention the paper it's in as that's irrelevant. Kudos to the journalist (Lewis Steele). Read it everybody, and feel a warm glow; firstly at our incredible progress and secondly our (the fans) role in it.
I asked Lewis how he knew about Paul - his family are Albion fans so he recognised him.

It's great that the story is being told in a National paper, even if it's that one

I noticed Paul celebrating with Deniz on the dodgy stream I was watching, but so glad it got picked up

I too saw the celebration. I'm SO bad with faces that I didn't recognise Paul - I though it was Undav's Dad!
