Poor man's Kanchelskis, neither were ever coming here.

Injury prone, high wages and getting on...no thanks even if he did fancy signing for the club he *cough* supports

Me neither, if we want Brighton born players, why don't we get back the majority of the 13 we just released? Lets build a team on proven players, not some local journeymen

shame would/will rip the league apart if he keeps himself fit

To be honest, I really wanted him to come here a while ago. But now, we seem to be brining in younger and less injury prone players. So not bothered at all now.

Plus, he played for Pala*se so would need to go to church for a month and pray for forgiveness first.

true, it does say training but I would assume it preety much means the same...

well not really otherwise they'd say he was on trail. players rarely go back once the contract ends, before last year with Hart/mayo etc we'd probably not heard of it. however it seems quite normal for players to train with ex-club or one near their home (didnt Beckham train with Arsenal for the winter before last?) while waiting for the next offer.
