Thank you!

Whilst booing your own players is never a good thing, in 45 years of supporting the Albion I have done this maybe twice, why does PB think that ‘customers’ should not complain when given a xxxx product?

Where has he mentioned ‘customers’ in this piece? Muppets like you have no idea what a decent CEO this man is and try to score cheap points with a phrase he may or may not of used many years ago and learnt very quickly not to use again!

Who's to say a well placed chorus of boos won't elicit a positive reaction.
It doesn't seem that encouragement is getting the job done too often.

Firstly, I agree that PB is probably one of, if not the best, CEO in the PL, supported by the fact that we have had to pay him a fortune to prevent him being poached by one of the top clubs (I believe Liverpool were interested at one point but stand to be corrected).

Secondly, he has made no secret of the fact that he thinks fans should be treated like customers, ie people that have a choice. And I agree with him. He's not saying we are customers and therefore not fans, we are both. Being treated like customers makes the fan experience better. I remember when clubs treated us just as fans knowing we would come back week after week. We had fences around the pitch, kettled at pretty much every away game and the toilets were merely a brick wall to piss up against! I know what I prefer.

Lastly, the other side of the coin is exactly what others have said. Serve up a poor product then your customers have the right to complain/vent their feelings. I think some of the players did deserve to know how the fans felt. I was at the game and was pleasantly surprised at how strong I thought the team was strong for this tie but a number of players didn't deliver, particularly Bissouma. We played a very weak team against Villa in the League Cup and lost and a stronger one against Wednesday and still lost!!!
