The council's decision has paid baticular concern to them.Stop trivialising this. Won’t anyone think of the bats
And Lewes / Eastbourne council have it listed as a “pipeline public inquiry”
The club own itDoes the club own the bit we use for parking? Or is that bit rented?
Permission granted for what? A hotel? The Appeal has been allowed and permission granted.
Permission granted for what? A hotel?
A watch tower manned by Lewes Council to monitor any other nefarious attempts to develop this area within only a few short miles of their unspoilt town, yes really it’s that close…..Permission granted for what? A hotel?
This has to be bad news for the club, doesn't it? Seems ridiculous to have that basically on the footprint of the ground (although I know it was never Albion's land). No, student accommodation!

Thanks. If it's for the residents of the accommodation, hard to see how that would work though. Access for them is going to be a nightmare on match days. The only slightly positive part is there was underground parking included in the original plans which hopefully might be available for the club to use

Christ on a bike. I almost feel sorry for the Falmer residents who must feel the stadium development ultimately opened the door to this happening one day, as they would have feared.
How in the name of sanity did that monstrosity get approved and the hotel get turned down?
