Pathetic BBC coverage

I looked at the BBC local text this morning and could not belive what I was reading. All they had done was change a few words from the bit they did before the march. So instead of Brighton fans plan to march through the city....., it was Brighton Fans have marched through the city.

For a service that we have no option but to pay for, this was a totaly useless coverage. Also nothing on the local BBC news this morning either. Not even a mention.

Hmm...isn't there a bit of a pattern emerging here?

Just think back to the appalling way that the local BBC news handled the Prescott announcement about reopening the enquiry - they were very quick to say it had been rejected and that was that.

Now they're downplaying yesterday's march - a fabulously powerful and unprecedented statement by thousands of Albion fans...I can smell Beeb NIMBYs.

Last night on BBC South today (10:30pm) about 2 mins coverage of the march THEN about 6 mins of a tree in Lewes with a bunch of giro loving tree huggers chanting 'Save our tree, save our tree'. I mean what the  is going on?

Do they have any idea of what the local issues are???
