I have tickets for the Palace match but since i have found out that i have college on the tuesday till latish so cant get the train like i normally do as myself and my car wont be at home and will probably have to travel from tonbridge straight to the Amex, are there many places to park by the stadium or within a 15 minute walk away ?

You could probably park in Moulsecoomb, which is only a ten minute walk. If you were to head for Lucerne Road, there is a walkway straight to the ground.

Can see your problem. Street parking Coldean then a fifteen minute walk. Less if you pace it.

15 to 20 minutes either on bloody dangerous grass verge (vehicles zooming by at 80 mph feet away), or cross to other side & later on go under pedestrian tunnel with everyone else.

Not at all. If you park where I said, there is no cars or tunnel. You would be walking up the path from Moulsecoomb to the stadium. It is a footpath with no vehicular access. Unfortunately that includes disabled wheelchairs as there are around eight steps up to said walkway.

Is that route next to Uni, Southern Water & Falmer School.

On Sx Senior Cup Final afternoon, many were walking on that grass verge (south side A27). A Southern Water security man didn't like fans walking on his grass!

When the fella said Lucerne Road I suspect he meant Lucraft Road, which is 5 minutes walk.

I would recommend you park in Coldean, which has plenty of spaces about 15 minute walk from the ground.

15 minutes from the ground is by the Hikers. You need to get there very early to get a space, the two previous evening games have been pretty full by 6.15 but there's still plenty of parking in the middle of Coldean about 25 minutes walk

 What the hell made me say Lucerne Road? Sorry of course I meant Lucruft Road, my apologies for any mix up.
