why not park at Mithras house, and drink in the boozers in lewes road.

Because they are Northerners coming down to Brighton for the day. I think they want to see the seaside, not Lewes road Sainsbury's. Plus we are arriving at lunch time. Lewes road boozers on a friday afternoon will be full of smack heads and bus drivers no?

A sheffield Weds supporting friend of mine has organised a mini-coach for transport down to the game. There will be about 16 of us, all Sheff Weds fans apart from myself.

I don't know all of them but knowing the ones I do, the others will all be sensible guys and girls too. I have a feeling that being the Brighton fan I will be asked to organise the days activities (pubs) once we have arrived in Brighton at about 2pm.

I don't normally go drinking in Brighton before a match when I come down, so can anybody on here give me any good away friendly pubs in Brighton that are likely to be MIXED (Brighton and Weds)?? I don't fancy ending up being the only Brighton fan in their 'Boys' pub but similaly i'm sure they won't want me to take them somewhere that will be full of Brighton giving them the eye.

I normally go to The Swan at Falmer for a pre-match pint and this is their type of pub, however I know they want to 'be at the seaside' for a bit before the game so i'm kind of limited to the town centre.

Secondly, does anybody know what the restrictions are at the Amex for mini-bus parking? I've seen quite a few parked in the same area as the coaches before when i've been at games. Can ANY mini-buses park there or do you need to get prior permission from someone? If so, does anybody know who I should contact?

If you want to go into town or down the front you will need to get here before 2.00
Ignore above i had forgotten it`s an evening weekday game

For Friday or all games? Where's that info from?

All games. Was told this by the landlord of the Railway Bell, OB's orders apparrently.
AFAIK it applies to the Bell, the Grand Central, the Queens Head and possibly the Standard.
Not sure about the other pubs round there.

The Grand Central had large "home fans only" signs up for the Barnsley game. Thought this was very poor as it'll be the first place that a lot of away fans see and is likely to antagonise them.

Four of the naffer Pubs in the station area. Plenty of others slightly off the track far better.

Going back a few years, The Queens Head was always sniffy about any fans going in there & wouldn't let anyone in wearing replica shirts or colours. That changed with new ownership I believe?

Leave mini bus get the train to Brighton station a few beers in Trafalger street ( prince Albert) and then if your still standing back on the train to falmer

The Prince Albert in Trafalgar Street brings back many memories.......Lill and George the Landlords in the 60s. Lill drinking her bottle of Moet every night, pints of mild, live singing, what a boozer!
