Quicker than waiting for the Mithras P&R?

No idea. I've never taken the P&R bus back.

There may be a queue for the buses immediately after the game but, like the trains, give it half an hour - it's a doddle.

My routine is I've always hung around after the game, so I don't know what the experience of leaving immediately is. However, when I do leave, either the trains or the buses are queue-free, and so easy to consider.

i use racecourse.on saturdays get there 2o/c and at ground by about half past.usually plenty of buses for return journey and back to p and r in half hour.allow bit extra for evenings as fans tend to arrive at same time, not staggered as on saturdays.thought mithras was only for disabled now and cockcroft for all others?

Having just read this thread, are there buses available to get back to Brighton rail station that would be a better option than waiting in the large herd to get on a train after the final whistle?

Far easier to get off at St Peters Church and walk up to the station.

That is the quickest up Trafalgar St if you don't mind the walk uphill

and are still young enough to do it in a reasonable time without stopping for half a dozen breathers.
