No, not Hilton, the city.

I'm going this evening for a whistlestop trip and best man duties in Orsay. I am looking to take Mrs Saville to a restaurant tomorrow night. £50 per head maximum. We're staying near Sacre Coer/Mon Matre/Garre De Nord.

Any tips for somewhere nice to eat/drink?

You can eat well everywhere but my favourite spot is called Le Gamin De Paris, which is in the Marais - Rue du Temple? something like that - duck, duck and more duck, in honey or orange - followed by the Best Chocolate Tart In The World. It gets busy but they give you kir to drink as you wait standing up at the bar. Actually, a more impressive setting and not that expensive is Bofinger, which is just off the Rue St Paul (?) to the left as you approach Bastille.

Montmatre/Sace Coeur is just about the best place in Paris (I'd say beating la Rive Gauche) for eating out. On top of hillside, overlooking the city, watery hazy sunset - the works. You lucky duck.

For 75 Euros, try some of these to start with...

I'm off to be sneered at by snooty waiters this weekend. Cheers for the info.

Just say France were cheated out of the world cup and you don't like Americans either.

Believe me - they'll love you for it.
