Currently 10-9 in the Murray/Evans match tiebreak.

3rd match point....and they take it! Through to the QF! :)

Tough potential match next against 3rd seeds Fritz/Paul from the USA. But you never know...
I would love to see them vs Alcaraz and Nadal, I guess it will happen in if they both keep winning

Here's hoping Georgia gets better luck this time on the bike than the puncture she got in Tokyo 3 years ago.

Beth Potter out of the water in 5th.

GTB 10th 36 seconds down.

I would not fancy cycling in those high cut tri-suits. Imagine skidding across the tarmac without even a layer of Lycra to protect you 😬

With all those triathletes in the group together, it's just a case of who's got the best runners now assuming they can all stay upright for the last lap.

GTB's excellent in this as she proved in Tokyo. Potter very decent too. But Emma Lombardi's a big threat with the home crowd support.

Top 3 from one or both of the Brits is very much on.

More or less, but there is a factor that a tough 40K on the bike can take a lot out of the legs of the weaker cyclists just trying to keep pace with the pack.

Yes indeed - they'll have expended extra energy just staying upright in those slippery conditions. And the current in the swim wasn't easy.

I'm just happy that GTB survived the bike ride this time without any mechanicals.

Feeling confident for a GB medal, although GTB is dropping back now.

Potter's in the leading group of 4.
