23 Chinese tested positive for drugs in the run up to the last Olympics but they claimed it was food contamination. It was not made public and they were allowed to compete. I'd be astonished if they didn't have a doping programme..

I was once arrested on the banks but jumped into the river to escape. I was caught though.

I appreciate what you're trying to say and I don't disagree, but given the choice, I'd rather not. Not everything in life has to relate to everything else.

At the risk of appearing pollyannaish, let's try and avoid divisive stuff on this thread - it gives me and I'm sure plenty of others daily joy.

It's a place to recognize and admire outstanding performances, celebrate GB medals in real time, share results and express opinions around them.

And if truth be told, we could probably all benefit with some unifying feel-good at the moment.
